Job summary

Rueter’s Equipment in Indiana is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic to perform major mechanical work on gas and diesel engines, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and keep equipment in top condition.

This full-time role involves shop and on-site service, travel to customer sites, and maintaining detailed work orders. You must have 7+ years CNH heavy equipment repair experience, own tools, valid driver's license, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of CNH or equivalent heavy equipment repair experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; CDL is a plus.
• Must have your own tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop-based repairs and maintenance on customer equipment.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site service as needed.
• Diagnose equipment problems accurately and recommend effective repairs.
• Identify and procure parts and supplies for repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working around equipment.
• Meet deadlines and schedules for work orders.
• Operate a forklift and assist in loading/unloading machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, time, materials, and services.
