Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Field Service Representative (FSR) Engineer to embed with customers and deploy a production-grade data platform for mission-critical environments.

You will operate at the intersection of software engineering, data integration, and real-world operations, turning complex data into reliable, live systems that support critical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Pyspark, Java, JavaScript, SQL or similar languages.
• Familiarity with data systems, APIs, and distributed architectures.
• Ability to operate independently in customer-facing, on-site environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous, real-world settings.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain a distributed data and application platform in production.
• Integrate data from disparate source systems while preserving lineage and governance.
• Build and customize operational applications, workflows, and analytics.
• Design and maintain data pipelines supporting real-time and batch use cases.
• Troubleshoot high-impact issues in live operational environments.
