Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to direct employees and resources for field service operations including tank cleaning, decontamination, and emergency response. The role requires leading technicians and drivers, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinating on-call coverage.

You will manage assignments, maintain equipment and inventory, and create daily schedules for field teams while upholding OSHA, EPA, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in environmental field service operations.
• Knowledge of Clean Harbor Field Services.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and streamline projects.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations.

• Manages large scale field service and emergency response projects when directed.
• Directs Field Service Technicians, Class A and Class B Drivers.
• Acts as on-call coordinator and ensures proper coverage.
• Maintains service center property in compliance with laws and inspections.
• Creates daily schedules for field service work and spill team.
• Oversee DOT logs and hours of service via Samsara.
• Ensures OSHA, EPA and H&S standards are met.
• Inspects and maintains equipment and inventory.

Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge, TX is seeking a Field Service Coordinator responsible for the direction of employees and resources to perform duties associated with field service operations including tank cleaning, equipment & facility decontamination and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Enforces the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety. Will be measured off the district's health and safety record. Works closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP of Site Services in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner;
• Manages large scale field service and emergency response projects when directed;
• Manages Field Service Technicians, Class A and Class B Drivers;
• Acts as the on-call coordinator on an as needed basis;
• Responds immediately when on-call or secures proper coverage and communicates replacement name to supervisor/manager;
• Responsible for the inspection of the Service Center property on a daily basis to ensure the facility is clean and in compliance with federal, state or local laws, including “best in class” inspections;
• Directs personnel in the operational procedures to complete assignments and understand manpower and equipment requirements to complete field service projects and emergency responses;
• Evaluates approved trainings and solo approvals prior to assigning employees to projects and emergency assignments;
• Acts as office liaison for the field service personnel in the field and has independent authority to determine who may or may not work on a given shift;
• Ensures rolling stock equipment is properly maintained and permitted for operations;
• Maintains proper inventory of equipment and supplies for current workload;
• Maintains proper working order and maintenance for assigned company equipment and or vehicles;
• Responsible for the proper completion of worksheets, vehicle inspections and equipment inspections;
• Creates daily schedules for field service work and on call/Spill team;
• Responsible for the inspection, requests for service and repair of equipment and material in the service center and ensures proper return of equipment on a daily basis;
• Enforces and ensures OSHA, EPA and H&S standards or regulations are compliant;
• Ensures the timely reporting of work-related accidents or incidents to immediate supervisor;
• Oversee and participate in the tracking of DOT Logs (hours of service) via daily review of Samsara.
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Clean Harbor Field Services
• 3+ years’ experience in environmental field service operations
• Adaptable to change and ability to streamline project work
• Knowledge of various types of equipment
• Proficiency in Windows based applications
• Ability to understand issues and resolve/address strategically
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations as well as Clean Harbors policies and procedures related to field operations
• Strong customer management/customer service skills
• Per respirator requirements, must maintain a clean-shaven face
