Environmental Restoration LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled Emergency Response Truck Driver based in Indianapolis, IN to assist with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. This role involves both scheduled and emergency response work, requiring the ability to travel and take overnight response calls. Key Responsibilities



* Health and Safety Priority: Adhere to the PROS - Pause, Review, Observe, Start safety program to ensure health and safety are always the top priority.

* Emergency Response: Perform both non-emergency and emergency response activities involving hazardous biological and chemical materials.

* Labor-Intensive Work: Engage in physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.

* Confined Spaces & Heights: Work in challenging environments such as confined spaces, low-clearance areas, and at heights.

* Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate light and heavy equipment, including skid steers, forklifts, and pressure washers.

* Availability for After-Hours and Weekend Work: Be available for after-hours, weekend, and emergency response work, including on-call duties.

* Travel and Overnight Requirements: Frequent travel and overnight emergency response are required for assignments, including overnight stays for remote locations or urgent needs.

* Routine Inspections and Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance.

* Timely Completion: Ensure all response tasks are completed on time and in compliance with safety protocols and regulations.



What Does It Take to Work at Environmental Restoration?



* Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements required; Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred

* Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL

* Must pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam

* Legally eligible to work in the United States (verified through E-Verify)

* Willingness to obtain OSHA (40-hour) certification

* Ability to work on-call and respond to emergency situations

* Must be physically capable of handling strenuous tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, etc.)

* Ability to wear a respirator when necessary

* Must be able to interpret and follow both written and verbal instructions

* Experience with hazardous waste management, hazardous materials handling, heavy equipment operation, and OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus
