Job summary

HV Talent Group is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in Hartford, CT to install, service and support security technology systems for enterprise clients. This full-time, direct-hire role requires hands-on expertise, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in security installation, certifications in major platforms, and proficiency with CCTV and access control products.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in security installation/ service.
• Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, American Dynamics, Prowatch, Victor, VMS.

Responsibilities

• Install & repair CCTV, Access Control, Burglar Alarm systems and related peripherals.
• Document all installation and service activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on indoor/outdoor equipment.
• Pull wires and operate lifts at various heights.
• Adhere to safety standards and customer requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
