Job summary

Rainmaker Technology Corporation seeks a Field Scientist to install and maintain meteorological instruments, perform data quality control, and analyze datasets for precipitation enhancement projects. You will work with engineers and technicians to ensure data integrity and contribute to algorithm development.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in meteorology or atmospheric science, experience with data acquisition and analysis, and strong electronics knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in meteorology or atmospheric science is required.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and data analysis techniques is required.
• Programming skills, especially Python, are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and calibrate meteorological instrumentation including radar, lidar, and sensing packages.
• Perform data quality control, data wrangling, and scientific analysis.
• Develop and validate algorithms using meteorological datasets.
• Assist in precipitation enhancement operations and evaluate effectiveness of events.
• Provide training and documentation for staff.
