Job summary

Next Solutions is seeking experienced Satellite Installation Technicians, Fixed Wireless Installers, Broadband Technicians, and Telecommunications Field Technicians to support residential and commercial installation and service work across the South Bend market, and surrounding areas.

Technicians will perform installations, upgrades, service calls, and troubleshooting for satellite television and internet services, including DIRECTV, Viasat, and Starlink systems.

Qualifications

• Previous satellite, cable, telecommunications, or related field experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned workload.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to lift and carry installation equipment and materials.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass required background screening.
• Ability to successfully complete required drug screening.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings when business needs require.
• Ability to meet customer service and installation quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Install satellite television and internet systems.
• Install fixed wireless internet and broadband equipment.
• Mount, align, and configure customer equipment.
• Run and secure cabling according to installation standards.
• Program and activate equipment.
• Troubleshoot service and connectivity issues.
• Perform repairs, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
• Verify proper functionality before leaving each job site.
• Deliver a positive customer experience throughout the installation process.
