Job summary

Resolve Marine Group is seeking Salvage Technicians who report to the Project Manager on projects and to the Facility/Warehouse Manager when not deployed. Responsibilities include operating pumps, generators, cranes, lighting, and site maintenance with strict safety practices.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of similar experience; crane rigging and signals preferred; training and/or certification required before operating equipment; up to 25% travel; adherence to ADA requirements and

Qualifications

• One or more years of work experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience with crane riggings and crane hand signals preferred.
• Training required prior to operation of any equipment.
• Training and/or certification required prior to operation of any company owned (or leased) vehicles or equipment.
• ADA requirements include sit/stand, walking, using hands/fingers, exposure to outdoor conditions, climbing or balancing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, talking/hearing, seeing, tasting/smelling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Travel up to 25% is required.

Responsibilities

• Handling diaphragm pumps, gas powered trash pumps, electric submersible pumps, air compressors, generators, and hoses/oilers/water separators.
• Perform rigging procedures for crane lifts and learn/use crane hand signals.
• Operate all equipment and follow start/run procedures, checking fluids before operation.
• Fuel, start, and store all equipment properly (generators, air compressors, light towers, gas trash pumps).
• Inspect and maintain lighting equipment and perform site maintenance (rigging, trash control, and proper disposal).
• Assist welders/burners with fire watch procedures and apply paint/sand blast coatings on projects.
• Clean pumping equipment and hoses after use; conduct post-project equipment inspections and tag defects for return to warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.
