Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in Birmingham, AL seeks Field Sales Representative for Water Restoration to identify and close opportunities with residential and commercial clients. You will perform property assessments, leverage pricing and insurance guidelines, and rely on provided leads rather than cold calls.

Ideal candidates have outside sales experience, strong English communication, a valid driver’s license, and a readiness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required however knowledge of Water Restoration and practices is required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, etc. Other Roto-Rooter specific computer programs will also be used.
• Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered.
• Maintains IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification in Water Damage Restoration.
• Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator and complete a respirator fit test.

• The primary function of this role is to identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to the residential and commercial market.
• The Sales Representative will perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Roto-Rooter is currently seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Water Restoration department. Ideal candidates will actively pursue sales opportunities and qualified leads provided by field service technicians and call centers. • Unlimited earnings with an average of $ 55,000-$75,000 per year PLUS mileage reimbursement!

Water Restoration Sales Responsibilities
