Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Field Sales Representative for our Excavation department. You will pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers, calling on residential and commercial properties to sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions.

This outside sales role offers unlimited earning potential ($70k–$100k annually) plus mileage reimbursement, weekly base-pay with commission, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and background check per company standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work days, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

Excavation Sales Requirements:

• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld telecommunication devices and understand commercial software packages such as Word and Excel. You will also use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
