Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in California is seeking a Field Sales Representative for the Excavation group. This outside sales role offers pre-qualified leads from our field technicians and call centers, no cold calls, and a path to uncapped earnings.

You will identify sewer line repair opportunities, perform camera assessments, provide quotes within our pricing matrix, and close deals. Candidates should have a valid driver's license, strong communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and can work days, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld telecom devices and understand Word and Excel; use company systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for outside sales experience in in-home services; all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.

We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. Responsibilities

Excavation Sales Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow‑up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water‑related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.
