Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Sales Consultant for the K-12 market to travel the Arizona territory, visiting current and prospective customers and conducting in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors, and administrators.

You will develop and implement plans to achieve goals, build sales solutions, forecast activity, and participate in networking at conferences and industry events. Two years of teaching, sales, or publishing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree - Proven record of consistent sales and goal achievement performance.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and implement sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with customers, prospective customers, internal business partners, colleagues and management. Detailed territory management and organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency in business technologies, including PCs, mobile devices, CRM systems and Microsoft Office; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to transport materials to customer locations and lift 50 lbs unaided and move up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.

In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s variable Sales incentive compensation program.
