Job summary

Cengage, a global education technology company, is seeking a FIELD SALES CONSULTANT K12 for Minnesota with remote work flexibility. You will engage in sales calls to prospective customers, present solutions for digital and print products, and drive growth across your territory.

You will meet or exceed annual sales goals, develop strategic territory and business plans, and provide accurate forecasts and activity reporting using company tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of teaching experience; education sales preferred in publishing.
• Proven track record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective relationships with customers and partners.
• Territory management and organizational skills; able to lift 50 lbs.

What you'll do here:

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED HERE: -

• Bachelor’s Degree - Minimum of 2 years of teaching, and education sales preferably in the publishing industry.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement performance.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationship with current and prospective customers, internal business partners, colleagues, and management.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Strong competency in the use of business technologies, multiple applications, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to transport materials to customer locations is essential to this role, therefore must be able to lift 50 lbs unaided.

PREFERRED -

• Sales experience with exceptional knowledge of digital information delivery, education, or the informational technology industry.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.

In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s variable Sales incentive compensation program.

$52,000.00 - $70,000.00 USD

Target Variable Compensation:

60,000.00 USD Annual: Individual Target
