Cengage Group in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Field Sales Consultant K12 for Minnesota (REMOTE) to drive digital and print product solutions, meet sales goals, and develop territory plans. You will forecast sales, build relationships with schools and districts, and support conferences and industry events.

Base pay ranges from $52,000 to $70,000 USD with incentives. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in education sales, with strong communication and CRM skills.

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED HERE:

• Bachelor’s Degree - Minimum of 2 years of teaching, and education sales preferably in the publishing industry.

• Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement performance.

• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.

• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.

• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationship with current and prospective customers, internal business partners, colleagues, and management.

• Documented territory management and organizational skills.

• Strong competency in the use of business technologies, multiple applications, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to transport materials to customer locations is essential to this role, therefore must be able to lift 50 lbs unaided.

PREFERRED

• Sales experience with exceptional knowledge of digital information delivery, education, or the informational technology industry.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.

In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s variable Sales incentive compensation program.

$52,000.00 - $70,000.00 USD

Target Variable Compensation:

60,000.00 USD Annual: Individual Target
