Job summary

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is seeking a Safety Technician to support our safety program across maintenance and commercial roofing operations. This role conducts jobsite safety inspections, provides safety training, and assists with safety documentation and audits, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will travel extensively to job sites, collaborate with field personnel and management, and help maintain accurate safety records,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction safety, commercial roofing, construction operations, or a related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA construction safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively to job sites and company locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite safety inspections for maintenance and commercial roofing projects.
• Identify unsafe conditions, hazards, violations and corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection findings to field and management personnel.
• Provide safety training and retraining to field personnel.
• Complete safety plans, JHAs, hazard analyses, and other required safety documentation.
• Conduct online safety audits for Maintenance and Commercial departments.
• Maintain safety records and training documentation.
