Job summary

Sheakley is seeking a Construction Site Safety Technician in Lebanon, IN to provide hands-on field safety oversight for electrical installation and utility construction on a data center project.

You will work alongside electricians and supervision, monitor OSHA compliance and project safety requirements, perform regular inspections, and coordinate with the safety team to address hazards and ensure safe work practices across the site.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience overseeing safety for electrical contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities.
• Maintain a visible presence in active work areas.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor electrical installation and utility construction activities.
• Coordinate with electricians, foremen and supervision to correct unsafe conditions.

Construction safety experience

Experience with electrical contractors

First Aid/CPR certification

Education

OSHA 30 Construction Certification

NFPA 70E training or certification

CHST, STSC, ASP, BCSP credential
