Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Safety Technician in Ohio to support field teams through jobsite audits, safety trainings, and program implementation.

This full-time role involves traveling to local job sites and collaborating with supervisors and project managers to improve safety performance. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate/bachelor preferred), 2+ years in safety, OSHA knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction or field safety role.
• OSHA standards knowledge and safety best practices.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Jobsite safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to site management.
• Lead safety orientation and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
• Develop training materials and maintain logs and records.
• Support enforcement of safety policies and track performance metrics.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain safety documentation and stay current with regulations.
