Job summary

A leading civil contractor in Woodburn, Oregon, is seeking a motivated individual for safety compliance and construction oversight. You will conduct safety inspections, promote safety culture, and ensure adherence to OSHA standards. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in construction and possess excellent organizational skills. Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in construction/excavation.
• Understanding of OSHA and MSHA requirements.
• Must have valid license.
• 10 hour/30 hour OSHA certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety jobsite inspections to monitor compliance.
• Promote and cultivate the company's safety culture.
• Conduct incident investigations and complete associated reports.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Lead safety meetings and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Identify potential hazards and offer abatement assistance.
• Provide basic safety training.
• Track training and compliance records.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Schedule trainings and equipment maintenance.
• Perform data analysis.

What You'll Do

• Conduct safety jobsite inspections to monitor compliance.

• Conduct Construction project audits
• Promote and cultivate Kerr s Safety culture
• Conduct incident investigations and complete associated reports
• Conduct safety meetings and Job Hazard Analyses

• Conduct basic Safety training
• Track training and compliance records
• Representing the company in a professional manner
• Schedule trainings and equipment maintenance
• Data analysis

What You'll Need

• 1-2 years experience in construction/excavation

• Must have valid license

• Communicate in a professional manner and conduct presentations successfully at all levels of the organization
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
