Job DescriptionJob DescriptionField Safety SpecialistBucks County, PAAnnual Salary: $50,000-$65,000Responsibilities:

• Must be familiar with heavy construction and heavy construction safety, water plants, wastewater plants, industrial facilities and highways
  
• Required to write and/or modify safety procedures and protocols
  
• Perform safety inspections, provide safety options in own meetings
  
• Must participate in safety committee discussions and insurance reviews
  
• Perform field safety inspections
  
• Must be able to assist in safety solutions on site
  
• Required to work with multiple teams on safety-related issues
  
• Able to address safety issues immediately
  

Requirements

• 1-3 years in construction safety management
  
• Associates or bachelor's degree in an accredited safety program, engineering program or similar
• Proficiency in knowing and understanding OSHA regulations
  
• Ability to write skillfully and suggest modifications to safety procedures
  
• Local projects may be within a couple of hours of Trenton, NJ
  
• Solid Microsoft skills, including Excel
  
• Ability to read construction plans/specs a plus
  
• Ability to teach internal safety classes a plus
  
• Comfortable speaking to owner representatives about safety issues
