Responsibilities include field visits, real-time guidance, incident response support, and collaboration with foremen to maintain a strong safety culture across distribution sites in Texas.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in the power industry required, with distribution exposure.
• OSHA safety training completed is required.
• Strong field safety knowledge in electrical utility environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.
• Willing to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to assess conditions and identify safety risks.
• Provide on-the-ground safety guidance to crews in real time.
• Monitor OSHA regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
• Lead tailgate meetings and daily safety interactions.
• Assist incident response, documentation and corrective actions.
• Support project safety initiatives and maintain compliance records.
• Collaborate with field leaders to foster a proactive safety culture.

About this Role

NorthStar Energy Solutions isseekingan experienced and dedicated Field Safety Support professional to oversee Distribution projects in Texas.The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting safety excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a real-time safety resource for crews working across diverse and dynamic environments.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular field visits to assess working conditions and identify potential safety risks on active Distribution job sites
• Provideon-the-ground safety guidance to crews, helping apply established protocols and mitigate hazards in real-time
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and client-specific safety requirements
• Facilitate daily safety interactions, tailgate discussions, and crew check-ins to reinforce safety expectations
• Support incident response efforts, documentation, and corrective action processes as needed
• Assistin executing project-specific safety initiatives andmaintainingfield-level compliance documentation
• Collaborate with field leaders,foremen, and safety teams tomaintaina strong, proactive safety culture

What You'll Bring

• HS Diploma/GED preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the power industry is a must, with a strong background in Distribution
  • Experience could be as a lineman, foreman, or safety with direct experience in the field
• Completed applicable OSHA safety training isrequired
• Strong knowledge of job-site safety practices in electrical utility environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example
• Bilingualin Spanish is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management tools
• Mustbe willingto travel
