Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety experience and QA/QC management as an individual contributor in construction or industrial fabrication facility.
• Advanced knowledge and ability to enforce federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NESC.
• Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures.
• Experience with construction/maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory agency QA/QC activities.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• MS Office suite proficiency.
• Current third-party certification in electrical discipline inspection/testing (NETA/CEI/IAEI) preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license in Northeastern US preferred.
• Safety credentials such as CUSP or CHST preferred.
• OSHA outreach training (OSHA 10/30) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create inspection reports detailing work-area conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain quality standards of products and QA/QC procedures across work scope.
• Develop project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) from drawings/specifications.
• Inspect electrical work for conformance with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Audit temporary safety-related installations to ensure worker protection.
• Prepare Nonconformance Reports (NCR) and manage closures.
• Conduct periodic project audits and report progress and issues.
• Provide Weekly/Monthly status reports where applicable.
