Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants seeks a RoofField Technician to join its network of independent contractors. You will inspect steep and high roofs, assess exterior and interior damage, and support underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge tools.

This is an Independent Contractor position with ongoing project-based work. Successful Technicians bring professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service, empathy for insureds, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle (truck/van/SUV) capable of transporting at least a 32’ ladder.
• Must have a Lidar-equipped device or ability to obtain one (e.g., iPad Pro/iPhone 12 Pro or newer).
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams; HAAG certification is a plus.
• Ability to obtain any required certifications to join our contractor pool.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage.
• Perform underwriting property inspections to support claims processing.
• Collaborate with the network of independent contractors and insurance partners to ensure thorough inspections.

As a RoofField Technician, you'll be part of our dynamic network of independent contractors, conducting assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, our inspectors help assess property damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are complete.
