Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a RoofField Technician to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. You will inspect steep and high roofs, assess exterior and interior damage, and support underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge tech.

This is an Independent Contractor position with flexible field-driven work. Qualified technicians bring safety focus, strong customer service, and entrepreneurial spirit; roofing or insurance claims experience is a plus but not

Qualifications

• Must have reliable Vehicle with ability to transport and carry at least a 32’ ladder.
• Must have a Lidar device or ability to obtain one (e.g., iPad Pro/iPhone 12 pro+).
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams.
• HAAG Certification is a plus.
• Ability to obtain required certifications to join contractor pool.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on steep and high roofs including exterior and interior damage assessment.
• Perform underwriting property inspections.
• Utilize technology to assist damage assessment and document findings.
• Provide professional service to insureds and support claims resolution.

As a RoofField Technician, you'll be part of our dynamic network of independent contractors, conducting assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, our inspectors help assess property damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are complete.

Please note: This is an Independent Contractor position.

Requirements:

• Must have a reliable Truck, Van or SUV with the ability to transport and carry at least a 32’ ladder
• Must have a Lidar equip device or the ability to obtain one (ex. iPad Pro/iPhone 12 pro or greater)
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
• HAAG Certification is a plus
• The ability to get any required certifications or credentials to become a part of our contractor pool
