Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a RoofField Inspector to join our nationwide network of independent contractors in Texas. You will conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge technology.

We welcome professionals with roofing or construction background and insurance claims experience; HAAG Certification is a plus, and the ability to obtain required credentials is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely navigate and inspect steep/high roofs.
• Ability to perform inspections in varied weather conditions.
• Demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and empathy when dealing with insureds.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and reliable transportation required.
• Roofing/construction background or insurance claims experience is a plus.
• HAAG Certification is a plus; willingness to obtain required credentials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments on steep and high roofs and exterior/interior damage inspections.
• Utilize technology to assess property damage and support claims decisions.
• Work as part of Hancock Claims Consultants’ contractor network and provide timely inspections.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while inspecting properties and preventing further harm until repairs.

As a RoofField Inspector, you'll be part of our dynamic network of independent contractors, conducting assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, our inspectors help assess property damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are complete.

Please note: This is an Independent Contractor position.

Requirements:

• Must have a reliable Truck, Van or SUV with the ability to transport and carry at least a 32’ ladder
• Must have a Lidar equip device or the ability to obtain one (ex. iPad Pro/iPhone 12 pro or greater)
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
• HAAG Certification is a plus
• The ability to get any required certifications or credentials to become a part of our contractor pool
