Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the field deployment and integration of automated robotics at North American fulfillment centers. You will manage on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting across multiple projects while coordinating with hardware, software, and operations teams.

You will travel extensively (up to 75%+), mentor engineers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure go-live milestones are met in a fast-paced, construction/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with technical drawings (mechanical/electrical).
• 1+ year experience with mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems.
• Ability to read CAD models to resolve on-site clash issues.
• Willingness to travel across the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging and sortation tech at fulfillment centers.
• Develop knowledge of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in centers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, PMs, product teams, and site maintenance.
• Travel to project sites and align stakeholders on program status.
• Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget.
• Lead teams of engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver on-site execution to achieve go-live dates.
