Gravis Robotics in Austin, TX, is seeking a hands-on Field Robotics Engineer to own end-to-end deployments across the Americas, from site assessment to live operations.
This is on-site work, testing integrated robotic systems, troubleshooting under pressure, and serving as the technical face to customers. Join a fast-growing startup applying Physical AI to heavy construction and help bring autonomous machines to real-world environments.
Gravis Robotics is a high-growth Series A start-up backed by SoftBank, bringing Physical AI to the construction industry, turning heavy construction machines into autonomous robots.
Gravis began as an ETH Zurich spin-out, and our unique combination of learning-based automation and augmented remote control lets one operator safely conduct a fleet of earthmoving machines in a gamified environment.
Backed by deep robotics research and now deployed across multiple countries with leading construction and equipment partners, our team is rapidly growing to bring this technology to a trillion-dollar industry.
We're building out our US field team and looking for a hands-on Field Robotics Engineer to be part of it from the ground up. You'll own the end-to-end technical execution of customer deployments across the Americas, from initial site assessment through live operations, and work directly with R&D and Operations to continuously sharpen how we plan, test, and deliver.
This is not a desk job. You'll be on-site, getting systems to perform in real-world conditions, troubleshooting integrated robotic systems under pressure, and serving as the trusted technical face of Gravis to our customers. If you want to see your work move dirt, this is the role.
This role is US-based with frequent travel to deployment sites across the Americas. You'll get real exposure to customer environments from day one.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and versatile team and to be part of a young startup that is revolutionizing heavy construction. Gravis Robotics offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on problems with real global impact.
