American Medical Response is hiring a part-time Field Registered Nurse in Independence, IA. You will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care during inter-facility transportation. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience or 5 years in ED/CCT/CARDIAC/TRAUMA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years of ED/CCT/CARDIAC/TRAUMA RN experience.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and determine the best course of action for critical patients.
• Provide care requirements within the Registered Nurse scope of practice.
• Manage critically ill or injured patients as per physicians’ orders.
• Ensure a safe and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Collaborate professionally with health and safety personnel.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

ACLS, PALS, BLS-C certification
