Job summary

Verisk Field Representative role offers independence as you visit commercial properties, observe business operations, assess safety and loss exposures, and document risk-related information for underwriting and pricing across multiple lines.

This is a full-time, field-based position with paid training, mentoring, company-furnished technology, a phone, and a fleet vehicle. You will plan routes, manage schedules, and gain diverse industry exposure while building commercial risk expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience; preferred fields include Risk Management and Insurance, Construction Management, Property and Liability Insurance, Safety.
• Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills; ability to write concise and informative reports to quality standards.
• Strong proficiency with technology, laptops, mobile devices, MS Office suite and mobile applications; working aptitude for measurements.
• Self-motivated planning and goal setting; efficient routing, scheduling, documentation and site visits with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site visits and complete reports for customers to evaluate risk; identify business operations, construction materials, fire protection and safety measures; develop safety and loss-control recommendations.
• Professionally represent Verisk and our customers via phone, in person and in writing.
• Complete accurate and customer-centric reports while maintaining data quality commitments.
