Palouse Conservation District is seeking a Resource Conservation Technician to assist Conservation Coordinators and Planners with conservation practices focusing on riparian buffer restoration and in-stream bio-engineered structures. The role is field-centric, collaborating with a team of natural resource professionals to enhance and protect resources within the Palouse District.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with compensation of $19.58–$25.46/hour (DOE). Regular benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Fieldwork including planting, weed control, installing in-stream structures, mowing and watering.
• Assist other staff with grant or contract tasks as part of the district's annual plan.
