Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant coursework in social sciences, public health, research methods, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
• One year of related research, community engagement, participant recruitment, healthcare, public health, or field-based experience will be considered.
• Willingness to travel across North Carolina counties for field operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and local stakeholders.
• Represent the study at meetings, outreach events, and community gatherings.
• Deliver presentations to foster trust and participation and support recruitment efforts.
• Recruit and enroll participants through telephone outreach, events, and in-person visits.
• Conduct approximately 90-minute in-person assessments and collect biological specimens.
• Perform eligibility screenings and obtain informed consent in line with regulations.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and compliance with research requirements.
