Responsibilities

• Prepare corn seeds for machine planting at the agronomy farm.
• Assist in planting, corn crop management, and follow agronomic practices.
• Collect various plant data from seed germination to maturity.
• Collect and bring samples to the lab for PCR-based genotyping.
• Perform crosses and selfs of selected plants.
• Harvest and send samples for analysis.
• Perform seed collection, drying, storage, and cataloguing.
