Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus is seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to support the Principal Investigator's epidemiology research. The role emphasizes organization, data management, and clear communication within a collaborative environment. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. This on-site position may require occasional field activities and driving to research locations.

Qualifications

Must have experience conducting detailed health-related interviews.
Experience with chronically ill individuals; knowledge of Parkinson's Disease.
Experience in epidemiologic studies.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Ability to keep accurate, detailed records of research data.
Ability to work with study participants respectfully and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to use personal computer and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
Willingness and ability to drive to field research locations in rural counties.

Responsibilities

Support the Principal Investigator's epidemiology research through data collection and organization.
Coordinate interviews and field activities as required.
