Job summary

RetailData is seeking part-time Field Representatives to collect pricing, promotions, and merchandising data for leading retailers. You set a flexible schedule and use a handheld data collection device.

You will record prescribed product information, capture prices and promotions, and transmit files to the corporate office for review and client packaging. Training is provided and compensation is productivity-based with a guaranteed minimum and potential upside.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance.
• Ability to work approximately 15 hours per week with scheduling flexibility.
• Reliability to start and finish assignments on time with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds intermittently.
• Willingness to work in cold temperatures in grocery store aisles.

Responsibilities

• Use a company-provided handheld device to record prescribed product information on the agreed schedule.
• Capture item prices, promotions, and potentially pictures of product merchandising and displays.
• Transmit the collected data electronically to the corporate office for review and client packaging.

What will you be doing?

• On the agreed schedule that you set in partnership with your manager, you will be asked to use a company-provided handheld data collection device to record prescribed product information.
• There will be specific criteria that you will be asked to follow to capture information such as item prices, displayed promotions and potentially pictures of product merchandising and/or displays.
• Once you have successfully met the criteria of the project you simply transmit the file electronically to our corporate office for review and packaging to our clients.

• Reliability to start and finish assignments on time with the detail needed to satisfy the project criteria.
• Ability to stand throughout the work shift and lift up to 40 pounds intermittently.
• Willingness to work in cold temperatures associated with grocery store refrigerator and freezer cases as some projects required collection of items in these store aisles.
