Tetra Tech’s Rancho Cordova, CA office is seeking a full-time Remediation Technician to support environmental and remediation activities on a Superfund site. This field-based role involves field work planning, soil, water, and groundwater sampling, and operation of remedial systems.

Qualifications

• Associates degree is required.
• 0–3 years of experience in environmental and remediation projects.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine O&M inspections and maintenance on groundwater remediation system equipment.
• Conduct environmental sampling activities (groundwater, soil, and vapor).
• Oversee remediation system vendors and contractors.
• Perform non-routine O&M activities and troubleshoot system performance.
• Observe, record and report O&M compliance/permit monitoring data.
• Oversee remedial system installation, start up, and operation.
• Field investigation, sampling, and data collection.
