Job summary

Responsibilities include commissioning installations, coordinating testing, and supporting emergency callouts. Travel up to 25-50% domestically and internationally; must have U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years electrical experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% - 50%.
• U.S. work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently uses tools and test equipment in energized rooms/substations to install, maintain and program protective relays and related wiring.
• Reads, reviews and corrects schematics, wiring diagrams and substation drawings.
• Programs and operates test equipment and follows safety practices.
• Commissions new relay and metering installations.
• Coordinates testing, troubleshooting and repairs with other departments.
• Maintains and tests relays and equipment such as standby generators and display meters.
• Troubleshoots, repairs and replaces components in failures.
• Participates in emergency callouts.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
