Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to drive access for our therapies in the Central region (MN–MO, CO, MT). You will educate providers on coverage, prior authorizations, and funding options, and partner with Sales and Patient Support to optimize payer interactions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in pharma, strong reimbursement knowledge, experience with specialty biologics, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. This role offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an allied health field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare.
• Extensive experience with prior authorizations and navigating the US payer landscape.
• 3–6 years supporting Specialty Pharmaceuticals/Biologics.
• Strong reimbursement, access, and specialty pharmacy knowledge.
• Experience launching products or guiding insurance approvals.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality laws.
• English/Spanish bilingual is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in reimbursement for the assigned geography.
• Educate HCP offices on coverage, prior authorizations, and funding options.
• Build relationships with HCPs, office staff, and health system stakeholders.
• Analyze payer coverage trends and reimbursement criteria.
• Collaborate with Patient Support to streamline onboarding.
• Develop territory-level access strategies and business plans.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and privacy policies.
• Support cross-functional teams to improve patient access.
