Job summary

Syneos Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to serve as the subject‑matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting our products. The FRM will partner with Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State and Government Affairs, Trade and Specialty Pharmacy Accounts while abiding by all corporate and industry policy and procedures.

The role requires 3+ years in pharma/biotech with 2+ years in reimbursement/access.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industries.
• 2+ years in reimbursement, access, specialty pharmacy or patient support.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Analyze access and reimbursement issues.
• Educate HCP offices on product reimbursement.
• Educate field teams on access guidance.
• Provide education on specialty pharmacy issues for payer products
• Explain coverage under commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid.
• Support patient access by advising on payer coverage within SOPs.

Job description

Location: Detroit, MI, United States

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) will operate as the subject‑matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting the client’s products. The FRM will analyze reimbursement and access issues and act as the local access and reimbursement resource for other field force personnel and regional management. The FRM will need to collaborate cross‑functionally with Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State and Government Affairs, Trade and Specialty Pharmacy Accounts while abiding by all corporate and industry policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze access/reimbursement issues
• Provide product access/reimbursement education to HCP offices
• Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams upon approved direction
• Provide education and support on Specialty Pharmacy issues for pharmacy benefit products
• Provide information to HCP on how the products are covered under the benefit design (Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid)
• Support patient access to the product by providing subject matter expertise on payer coverage issues impacting product access in a manner that complies with policies, processes and standard operating procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy, specialty pharmaceutical sales, reimbursement/access, specialty pharmacy & distribution, or patient support services
• Ability to solve access issues related to both specialty pharmacy and medical benefit products
• Endocrinology experience preferred
• Local and national travel required
• Ability to operate as a “team player” in collaborating with multiple sales representatives, sales leadership, and internal colleagues appropriately to reach common goals
