Job summary

MCT Companies is hiring an on-site refrigeration technician in Bakersfield, CA. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on refrigeration units, while managing service processes to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires respect for customer property and a strong safety culture. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $45.00 per hour, with schedule Monday–Friday and participation in an on-call rotation to support after-hours needs.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Be able to pass a medical examiner’s test.
• Utilize critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and exercises good judgment.
• Coordinate tools, resources, and equipment to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Active listening skills, oral/written comprehension, and commitment to perform quality service.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for Windows based software programs e.g., Karmak Fusion software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostic services, repairs, and maintenance work on refrigeration units.
• Manages, and monitors their service processes to ensure their efficiencies promote quality customer satisfaction
• Takes customer requests seriously, respects the customer’s property, and exceeds customer expectations.
• Practices and promotes a safety culture.
