Job summary

Northsound Refrigeration in Bothell, WA is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician. The role covers service and installation of commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment across customer locations along the I-5 corridor, with a focus on diagnosing issues and preventative maintenance.

You will handle daily service calls, document work performed, and communicate with clients to ensure top-quality results. The position offers a company vehicle, benefits, and training support.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• EPA certification.
• DOL 06A license.
• Experience working on commercial kitchen appliances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work alone and/or with others.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that aligns with safety standards.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to daily service calls to diagnose and resolve refrigeration and HVAC-related issues.
• Assess equipment and job scope to determine effective repair or installation solutions.
• Perform repairs and installations on commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Assist on complex installations and service jobs (entry level).
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and industry regulations.
