Job summary

Kroger is seeking a REFRIGERTIAN MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT in Denver, CO to assist with general maintenance, repairs and support to assigned service calls. You will drive to stores daily and perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.
• Assist with and perform various preventive maintenance tasks and procedures to building and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment as directed.
• Assist in performing component replacement.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts safely.
• Complete repair, labor, parts documentation in a timely fashion.
• Assist other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

EPA Type 1 Certification
