Job summary

Kiewit is offering a Quality Intern internship in its South Central District. You will coordinate, document, and report quality control activities while witnessing inspections and tests as needed.

You will support project teams with documentation and help develop work packs for field operations. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Engineering, with a strong safety mindset and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with construction-related quality control procedures preferred.
• Working knowledge of trades, disciplines, and inspection techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, document, and report quality control and quality assurance activities.
• Witness and perform quality control inspections and tests as assigned.
• Provide required documentation for the assigned areas or disciplines on a project.
• Support field and shop-based activities with inspection and testing.
• Communicate test results to the project team with complete documentation.
• Collaborate with operations to develop work packs, inspections, and documentation.
