The Electric Plant Co. is building a new category of plant and tree intelligence.

You will design the application layer between our foundation model and growers’ tools, starting in the field with our Deployment Lead and then codifying repeatable patterns for future deployments. You’ll report to the Director of Engineering and collaborate with teams owning data plane, the foundation model, and client relationships to translate grower needs into reliable software that executes safely and

Qualifications

• Experience with production AI retrieval and context assembly, with measurable usefulness.
• Deterministic, repeatable code; minimising model calls where not needed.
• Shipped multi-tenant isolation in production with tenant-scoped data and access control.
• Built a config or skill system usable by non-engineers.
• Operated an agent system in production with drift awareness and cost considerations.
• Developed durable, idempotent, observable scheduled or event-driven agent work.

Responsibilities

• Build the client context layer and retrieval mechanisms, measured and validated.
• Define and expose the tool schema for data and insights, including uncertainty.
• Develop the product's agent systems with versioned, testable artifacts and scheduled work.
• Implement one insight pipeline rendering to chat, email, PDF, and API.
• Ensure context schema supports multi-tenant isolation and client data protections.
• Own actuation: safe, trackable execution of client-set policies and deployments.
• Create eval suites, trace capture, drift monitoring, and cost accounting per client.
