Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

Join our team as a Field Quality Technician, where you'll provide hands‑on technical support, perform installations and maintenance, and ensure quality and safety compliance at customer sites. This role blends electrical and mechanical expertise with customer‑facing service and problem‑solving.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and review client designs
  • Conduct field inspections, audits, and quality checks
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical issues
  • Support warranty investigations and service documentation
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Travel to project sites to resolve issues and provide support
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and customer visits
What You Bring
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical, Quality, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 2–4 years in field service, technical operations, or maintenance
  • Experience with electrical systems, wiring, or solar energy systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with NEC, UL, IEC standards
  • Certifications in electrical, HVAC, or renewable energy (e.g., NABCEP)
  • OSHA safety training or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work independently
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Comfortable in outdoor and industrial environments
  • Valid driver’s license required
