Job summary

Grace Pacific LLC in Hawaii seeks a field technician to perform density tests, take core samples, and document results for the QC team. You will operate a nuclear gauge, set field patterns, and work with Roller Operators to achieve the required compaction.

You will also take daily photos, complete daily reports, and ensure proper handling of cores per procedures. A high school diploma and basic math/MS Office skills are required; a valid driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with strong math/science aptitude.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, E-mail; adaptable to in-house software.
• Good math skills to perform accurate calculations.
• Able to read and understand job requirements and technical specifications.
• Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit daily compaction reports with test locations.
• Operate a nuclear gauge to test field density and set up daily field patterns.
• Chalk field density locations for inspectors and crew.
• Collaborate with Roller Operators to determine passes for compaction.
• Cut and test core samples and label for submission.
