Job summary

Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician to ensure that installation work meets specified standards through inspections, tests, and ongoing compliance monitoring.

You will document findings and collaborate with teams to drive improvements and high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities include on-site inspections, issue identification and reporting, and ensuring testing is completed per specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid State driver's license with a clean driving record.
• One year of relevant work experience.
• Quality control experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in an industry related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of telecom construction industry standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure plans and specifications are met.
• Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution.
• Record and follow up on non-compliance issues until they are resolved.
• Ensure all required testing is completed as specified and document the results.
• Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management.
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call or after-hours as needed, in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
