Job summary

EMR is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for outdoor, active work across varying weather conditions. You will inspect loads, identify debris, and prevent hazardous materials from entering processing streams while guiding truck traffic at the site.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and daily interaction with diverse teams and individuals. Prior QA experience helps, but reliability and a proactive mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Customer service experience
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment to include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection of loads to ensure materials are free from debris such as concrete, dirt, trash, etc.
• Performs quality checks to prevent hazardous materials from entering processing (e.g., lithium batteries, propane tanks or gasoline tanks).
• Determines deductions from loads if unwanted materials are present.
• Directs all site traffic for all trucks in and out of the facility.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices.
• Other job duties as assigned.
