STAR Construction, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician in Alabaster, AL. The role inspects installations, conducts tests, and monitors compliance to ensure projects meet specified standards.

You will document findings and collaborate with teams to drive improvements and high‑quality outcomes. Ideal candidates have at least one year of relevant experience and a related associate degree or equivalent work history.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• One year of relevant work experience.
• Quality control experience preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunication construction industry standard practices.
• Knowledge of Customer Installation Standards and Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure work meets plans and specifications.
• Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution.
• Record and follow up on non‑compliance issues until resolved.
• Ensure all required testing is completed and document results.
• Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management.
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on‑call or after‑hours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
