Job summary

Cherokee CRC is seeking a Construction Quality Control Inspector to serve as the primary contact for quality issues on the job site, supervise contractors, and coordinate inspections. You will create, collect, and submit daily reports and ensure adherence to safety and quality policies.

Responsibilities include field supervision, communicating with clients, and reading blueprints to provide timely edits. A related degree plus federal project experience are preferred, with a required security

Qualifications

• Degree in a construction related field preferred.
• 8 years of related experience or 12 years federal government construction experience including leadership as QC Officer.
• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Ability to pass background checks and security checks.
• Knowledge of construction divisions 1-48 and blueprints reading.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for quality issues on the job site.
• Field supervision of contractors.
• Coordination of inspections.
• Creating, collecting, and completing daily reports.
• Communication with clients.
• Set an example on-site regarding quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
