Job summary

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQM) seeks a Construction QC Engineer II to lead field quality control activities on groundwater and treatment plant remediation projects in compliance with USACE/DOD standards.

Primarily field-based, you will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with safety, quality, and engineering teams to ensure work meets contract requirements. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with certifications such as EIT,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
  • EIT, CQA, EPI, or PE license/certification preferred or obtainable during tenure.
  • HAZWOPER 40-Hour with 8-Hour Refresher.
  • USACE Contractor Quality Management certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of field QC experience on construction/treatment plant projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform, inspect, and oversee fieldwork in support of project scope.
  • Review subcontractors' work for compliance with plans and tolerances.
  • Ensure testing is performed by qualified personnel with calibrated equipment.
  • Track progress, quantities, and documentation for payment and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and cross-functional teams to meet standards.
