Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. (ACI) is seeking a QA/QC Specialist – Field to support quality operations across multiple projects and divisions.

This field-based role requires travel between ACI projects, reviewing construction requirements, identifying quality concerns, and driving resolution with project teams. The candidate should read drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and coordination documents, then verify field installations against requirements while adhering to codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction QA/QC field experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation and field testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections and quality audits across projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and P&IDs.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and manufacturer requirements.
• Verify field installations meet drawings, specs, codes and standards.
• Inspect piping, HVAC, electrical, and related systems.
• Support inspections of assemblies and start-up activities.
• Document tests, commissioning, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain QA/QC records using Procore and other systems.
• Document non-conforming work with reference to drawings and specs.
• Travel between project locations as required.
